Author Guidelines

You are invited to make a submission to this journal in English or French and under different genres. Here is a non-exhaustive list of questions and themes you are invited to address in your submission:

  • The history of trauma and PTSD, the relationship between trauma and literature (or other fields);
  • The contemporary status of trauma in the world and critiques of society's relationship to trauma;
  • What the experience of trauma is like, what does it change or what does it disturb;
  • What philosophical, phenomenological, or epistemological insights can we gain from looking at trauma?

All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for blind review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos and artworks. Authors always keep full ownership of their work during both the submission and publication stages.
