Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
- There is no information within the submission that can easily identify the authors involved (must be fit for blind peer review).
Non-fiction
We accept non-fiction work in essay, prose, or scholarly article form. Your submission must not exceed 10 000 words. We only accept Word documents. PDF formats will be rejected.
Poetry
We accept poem submissions. You may submit up to three poems per submission. Please begin each new poem on a new page with a clear markup. Your submission as a whole may not exceed 1000 words. Please send us your work as a Word file. PDF files will be rejected.
Art
We accept visual artwork submissions. Your artwork must be able to fit either within a 6"x9" single page or across two 6"x9" pages. We do not have any requirements for the file type for now.
Fiction
We accept fictional pieces: short stories and other forms of literary fiction. Your submission may not exceed 15 000 words. Your submission must be sent as a Word document. PDF files will be rejected.
Copyright Notice
When submitting to TRAUM/A, authors provide the journal with the permission to display their submission through the following mediums: Web, PDF, and print. Authors retain full ownership of their submission and may retract it from publication whenever they want. Access to an author's submission is free of charge and no profits are made from the author's submission.
Privacy Statement
The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
